Yards announces the arrival of Jérémie Yéni as partner. This appointment consolidates the firm’s strategy of developing its corporate tax and M&A/Private Equity activities and underlines its commitment to continued growth.

Jérémie Yéni, a tax lawyer with ten years’ experience at Simmons & Simmons and Racine, advises private equity and real estate funds in France and abroad (UK, USA, Luxembourg and Germany).

He advises his clients on the tax aspects of private equity and M&A transactions and is involved in their structuring and reorganisation, acquisitions and disposals.

Jérémie has also developed recognised expertise in real estate taxation, assisting his clients with all their transactional activities (acquisitions, disposals, real estate structuring).

Jérémie’s arrival is based on clear synergies with Yards‘ M&A/Private Equity activities and is in line with Yards’ desire to broaden its scope by offering new skills to meet its clients’ needs as closely as possible.

Dorothée Traverse, partner in the corporate and transactional tax practice and managing partner, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Jérémie! His excellent technical skills, international activity and real estate expertise, combined with his entrepreneurial spirit, ensure that he will be a key member of our team. This new step will enable us to accelerate the firm’s development strategy in both corporate tax and M&A/private equity for the benefit of our clients.

Igor Doumenc, partner in M&A/Private Equity, continues: “Jérémie’s arrival is a definite asset for our firm. Our areas of expertise complement each other. In particular, his experience in property taxation enables us to broaden our skills. We’re going to capitalise on these synergies to serve our clients even better”.

Jérémie Yéni comments: “Joining YARDS, a firm on a human scale, recognised for the excellence of its skills, is a great opportunity! It’s very stimulating to join a friendly team that’s committed to growth. What sets Yards apart is the excellent mindset of its teams, the strong involvement of its lawyers alongside their clients and the real cross-functional nature of its skills. For all these reasons, I’m delighted to be contributing to the development of YARDS and its values”.

His experience

Jérémie Yéni was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2013. He holds a Master 2 in Corporate and Business Law – DJCE (University of Poitiers, 2011) and a Certificate of Specialisation in Company Law (University of Montpellier, 2011).
