Yards announces the appointment of Aurore Meslin-Boquet as Counsel in the Private Clients and Family Business department
BackYards, the new-generation business law firm, continues its strategic development with the co-option of Aurore Meslin-Boquet as Counsel in the Private Clients and Family Businesses division. This appointment is in line with the firm’s strategy of strengthening its wealth tax activities, particularly internationally.
Aurore Meslin-Boquet advises and litigates on behalf of French and international clients, mainly family business owners and managers.
She assists her clients with all their wealth management issues (company transfers, executive remuneration, complex successions, assistance with tax audits, international taxation).
Aurore’s international profil and fluency in several languages (French, English, Spanish) enable us to offer our customers integrated support for large-scale cross-border operations.
Aurore Meslin-Boquet, who was sworn in as a lawyer in 2016, is a member of the Lyon Bar. She holds a Master 2 Professionnel in Business Law and Taxation from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in partnership with HEC (2012-2013).
She began her career with the Franklin law firm (2016-2020) headed by Jérôme Barré. Before joining Yards in 2022, she worked as an associate at Lyon law firm Lamy Lexel (2020-2021).
Jérôme Barré and Laurent Gabaud, partners in the Private Clients and Family Businesses division, comment: “Aurore has demonstrated unfailing dynamism and reliability alongside Yards customers and our teams. She is an excellent professional with human values that we share. We have every confidence in her to consolidate the development of our international activities. Her appointment as Counsel is the natural extension of an exemplary career path, and we’re delighted!
Aurore Meslin-Boquet declares: “It is with gratitude and pride that I welcome this appointment. Working with a team as talented as it is human is a real opportunity for me. I will continue to commit myself enthusiastically and rigorously in order to contribute to the satisfaction of our clients and the development of our wealth management practice in France and abroad. I would like to thank all the partners at Yards for their confidence”.
This appointment, which comes just a few weeks after that of two partners in the Corporate and Transactional Tax (Jérémie Yéni) and M&A Private Equity (Julien Brouwer) divisions, testifies to the dynamism of Yards.
