Yards supports Proxistore in its acquisition of a majority stake in the French start-up Sirdata

Yards Law Firm advised Proxistore, a Belgian company specialised in location-based digital advertising, in its acquisition of a majority stake in the capital of Sirdata, a digital data specialist.

Yards law firm acted alongside the Belgian firm Beyond Law Firm in this transaction.

This strategic merger follows on from Proxistore’s recent fundraising (€7.9 million) and marks the first step towards a full merger of the two companies.

The Proxistore group aims to create a European leader in digital advertising and to consolidate its position as leader in the market for campaigns combining geographic targeting and purchase intent.

Founded in 2011 by Benoit Oberle, Julien Trani and Rémi Demol, the start-up Sirdata has developed leading expertise in the collection, processing and sale of anonymous data. It guarantees its clients the ability to address captive or intentional audiences thanks to targeting that respects users’ choices, whether via its cookieless predictive tools and/or via trackers. Recognised for its expertise, Sirdata offers a suite of multi-tier data solutions combining operational and technological expertise.

By 2024, the two companies aim to have more than 70 employees and a consolidated turnover of more than €20 million.

This merger will also enable the two companies to accelerate their international deployment.
