Yards advises XAnge and Daphnid in the fundraising of Animaj

The law firm Yards has advised XAnge and Daphni on Animaj’s fundraising of around €100 million.

Founded in 2022, Animaj is a start-up specialising in audiovisual content for children. It acquires franchises on YouTube and uses artificial intelligence (AI) to improve them and distribute them on other channels.

The combined equity and debt financing of around €100 million was underwritten by XAnge, Daphni, Kima Ventures, Motier Ventures and Left Lane on the equity side and by Bootstrap, Atempo and Violat Credit on the debt side.

Thanks to this round of funding, Animaj will continue to buy franchises on YouTube and use AI to improve them and distribute them on other channels (social networks, SVOD or music streaming platforms, etc.).
