Back

The law firm Yards has advised the founders and management of Newlode, a cybersecurity solutions integrator, on its sale to the Squad group.

The founders and directors of Newlode, an integrator specialising in cybersecurity issues, are selling their entire stake to the Squad group, a cybersecurity consulting and expertise firm. Newlode’s founders and managers will also acquire a stake in the Squad group.

Founded in 2015, Newlode is recognised as one of the leading companies in the world of cybersecurity integration in France and has around fifty employees.

The Squad group, founded in 2010, is a cybersecurity consultancy with over 1,100 employees and more than 11 branches in France, Switzerland and Canada.

The purpose of the strategic merger between Newlode and Sqad is to accelerate Newlode’s national and international “key account” sales strategy, and to pursue its ambition of becoming, together, a leading player in the European cybersecurity market.

The Yards Avocats team comprised Éric du Peloux, partner, and Alexandre Malek and Laurie Martel, associates, who handled the M&A aspects, and Dorothée Traverse, partner , who handled the tax aspects.
