YARDS advises start-up Veesion on its €38m Series B funding round

Back

Founded in 2019, Veesion is the publisher of a gesture recognition tool based on surveillance cameras, enabling theft detection in shops. Its technology is currently used in 25 countries (in Europe, North America and Brazil) by more than 5,000 retailers and superstores.

Thanks to this strategic operation, Veesion aims to expand internationally, as well as strengthening its workforce to develop new uses. Its technology, initially designed to prevent theft, could also improve on-shelf replenishment management. Veesion also plans to adapt it to other environments such as warehouses, hospitals, crèches and building sites.

The Yards team, which has been supporting this X-HEC Entrepreneur graduate start-up since its first round of funding in 2018, was made up of partner Jean-Philippe Jacob, partner Julien Brouwer and associate Laurie Martel.
