Law firm Yards advised Newen Studios (TF1 Group) on the acquisition of French production company Daï-Daï Films

Yards advised Newen Studios (TF1 Group) in the acquisition of the French production company Daï-Daï Films from its founder and producer Vanessa Djian.

With this external growth operation, Newen Studios is acquiring an asset with strong potential, reinforcing its strengths in the fields of audiovisual production.

Created in 2017, the production company Daï-Daï Films has notably co-produced French and international productions such as “Adieu Monsieur Haffmann” and “Edmond”. It is also preparing the film adaptations of the comic books “Roger” and “Natacha”.

The Yards team was composed of Eric du Peloux, Julia Faure and Laurie Martel on the M&A and transactional aspects, and Dorothée Traverse and Jeanne-Eve Lepinay on the tax aspects.
