Yards advises Newen Studios on the acquisition of Digital Banana and a stake in Brain Comet

Law firm Yards has advised Newen Studios (TF1 Group) on the acquisition of Digital Banana and a minority stake in Brain Comet.

Digital Banana specialises in the design of cinematics and trailers for video games, advertising, animated series and films, as well as the graphic design of iconic characters.

Brain Comet is committed to developing unique concepts for series and films using a variety of animation techniques.

These two strategic external growth operations enable Newen Studios, a subsidiary of the TF1 group and one of the leaders in audiovisual production and distribution in Europe, to strengthen its presence in the animation sector.

The Yards team comprised Eric du Peloux and Julia Faure on the M&A aspects and Dorothée Traverse on the tax aspects.
