YARDS advises Conquest on its investment in Electric 55 Charging

Back

Law firm Yards advised Conquest on its €10 million equity investment in Electric 55 Charging (E55C), alongside Yesss Electric Group.

This fundraising operation will enable E55C, led by its director Romain Vincent, to accelerate the deployment and operation of a portfolio of public charging stations, via its model of simplifying their installation in the private domain open to the public.

In parallel, a YES55 joint venture has been launched between E55C and Yesss Electrique (No. 3 in the distribution of electrical equipment) with a view to developing an e-mobility offer for the BtoB market (aimed in particular at shopping centres, supermarkets, hotels, companies, condominiums, campsites, etc.), which will make it as easy as possible to deploy charging stations.

Yards was involved in the auditing, drafting and negotiation of contracts relating to the Conquest investment and the establishment of the YES55 joint venture.

The Yards team was composed of Igor Doumenc, partner, and Julien Brouwer, counsel, on the M&A aspects, Maud Gendron, counsel, on the joint-venture aspects, Dorothée Traverse, partner, and Jeanne-Eve Lepinay, associate, on the tax aspects and Christine Hillig-Poudevigne, partner, and Marion Peringuey, associate, on the social aspects
