YARDS advised the team of managers acquiring a stake in The Corporate Gym as part of its BIMBO

Back

As part of a BIMBO transaction, Naxicap Partners and Caisse d’Épargne Ile-de-France Capital Investissement (CEIDF CI) sold all of their shares to the family holding company Arts et Biens, which became the majority shareholder. This transaction enabled external managers Jérôme Conquet (Chairman) and Godefroy de Labarthe (Chief Financial Officer) to acquire a stake in the company, while maintaining the involvement of CEO Christian Lemaire and other long-standing executives.

The Corporate Gym was founded in Spain in 2005. The company designs and manages sports facilities in the workplace, offering suitable spaces and classes supervised by qualified coaches. Its facilities are used by tens of thousands of employees in Europe, promoting physical activity and well-being within companies.

This strategic transaction strengthens governance and supports the company’s build-up strategy, which aims to acquire complementary players in France and Europe with the ambition of becoming the European leader in corporate sports.

The Yards team consisted of Igor Doumenc (partner), Julien Brouwer (partner), and Laurie Martel (associate).
