MBA conseille Peninsular Capital dans le cadre d'un MBO sur le groupe Mecalectro

Back

The law firm MBA (Moisand Boutin & Associés) advised Peninsular Capital in the MBO transaction involving the Mecalectro group.

This transaction was structured as a minority participation of Peninsular Capital alongside the management team led by Jean-Pierre Demaria, the new chairman of Mecalectro.

The acquisition of the stakes held by Mecalectro’s historical managers and by the Ciclad and BNP Développement funds was also partially financed by senior debt taken out with BNP Paribas and the Caisse d’Épargne Île-de-France.

Founded in 1948, Mecalectro is Europe’s leading manufacturer and marketer of electromagnetic materials and equipment for major industrial groups (notably in the transport, healthcare, aeronautics, nuclear and defence sectors). With more than 100 employees, Mecalectro has an annual turnover of €13M.

The MBA team consisted of Igor Doumenc, partner, Eric du Peloux, counsel and Julien Brouwer, associate.

The management team was advised by Alkyne Avocats (André Devaux and Claire Pouzenc, partners).

The sellers were advised by Lamartine Conseil (Vincent Libaud, partner, and Agnès Letellier).
