MBA advises Stars in connection with the acquisition of Home Shopping Service (HSS)

Back

The MBA firm (Moisand, Boutin & Associés) is advising Stars, parent company of Téléshopping, on the acquisition of Home Shopping Service (HSS), the leading home shopping company in France, which produces the M6 Boutique programs. The MBA firm had already advised Stars on its acquisition of Téléshopping.

This acquisition will enable Stars to become the number one player in teleshopping in France, and then in Europe.

The MBA team consisted of Jean-Philippe Jacob, partner, and Maud Gendron, associate for legal aspects, Dorothée Traverse, partner for tax aspects, and Christine Hillig-Poudevigne, partner for employment law matters.

BG2V, with Hervé de Kervasdoué, partner, and Alexia Angileri, associate, acted as legal counsel for the M6 group.

MBA intervened in the structuring of the acquisition transaction from a tax and labor law perspective, the drafting and negotiation of the contracts relating to the acquisition and the legal documentation relating to the financing of the transaction by Stars.
