Associate 3 to 5 years experience in M&A/Private Equity

YARDS is looking for an associate with 3 to 5 years of experience to strengthen its private equity/M&A department composed of 14 professionals (including 3 partners) and interns.

YARDS is an independent international business law firm located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris with 50 professionals divided into five departments: private equity/M&A, corporate and transactional tax, wealth tax, employment law and business litigation.

You will work in the fields of private equity, mergers and acquisitions and corporate law, in a national and international context. Our firm advises and assists our clients on a daily basis at all key stages in the life of their companies:

LBO,
Development capital,
Innovation capital,
Management packages (BSPCE, AGA, preference shares…),
Due diligence,
Acquisition and disposal of companies,
Reorganisation of groups of companies (contribution of securities, mergers, demergers, partial contributions of assets).
You have a CAPA and a postgraduate degree in business law and/or financial or banking law (Master 2 / DJCE), ideally complemented by a double degree (business school or LL.M). You have acquired 3 to 5 years of experience in business law firms.

You have an excellent command of contract law and company law, a team spirit, the ambition to improve and to join a dynamic team.

A perfect command of English, both written and spoken, is essential.

In addition to your legal and linguistic skills and your taste for interpersonal relations, knowledge of Excel and accounting tools will be appreciated.
